From November 16 to 17, 2022 in Yabassi, the FAO training seminar on the use of the UTIDA tool for the analysis of sustainable aquaculture investments took place in the ISH teachers' room with trainers Pr Efole Ewoukem Thomas and Dr Mutlen Melvin. The seminar began on Wednesday, November 16 at 2:15 p.m. with the word of the Director, Pr Tomedi Eyango Minette épse Tabi Abodo who enlightened the participants on the importance of this training both for the teaching and supervision of students and for the development of business management methods via new technologies with a view to improving profitability. the floor was given to the trainer Pr Efole who first started with the definition and explanations of the terms and then approached the learning of the use of the UTIDA tool.

 

 

The seminar focused on the following points in particular:

Inventory of needs for the practice of entrepreneurial Aquaculture;
Assessing the economic performance of an aquaculture operation;
Assessing the company's budget;
Assessing the financial performance of an aquaculture operation;
Processes for improving the economic performance of an aquaculture operation;
Business risks, threats and dangers;
Needs assessment for the economic and financial performance of an aquaculture farm.
