Celebration of the 56th edition of National Youth Day by the IFAS in Yabassi, February 11, 2022

The 56th edition of the National Youth Day was celebrated by the IFAS community this Friday, February 11, 2022. Under the presidency of the Prefect of Nkam Department, the festivities related to this edition were registered on the theme: “Youth and voluntary participation in the major challenges of Cameroon." Students of the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences after this cultural week responded "present" to the call during the parade by forming several squares made up of clubs including the brass band, the red cross, the majorettes, footballers... With rhythmic and meticulously prepared movements, the students paraded in the presence of the Director of the IFAS in the stands, with the company of the administrative, political and traditional authorities of the city of Yabassi.

 During the Parade, the IFAS had the immense privilege of receiving the 1st prize for the best establishment parade. The party was therefore very eventful and continued at the municipal stadium of Yabassi for the football final between the IFAS and the Government technical and professional agricultural high School.
